Family Therapy
“Helping families find their way back to one another.”
Family therapy offers a space for families to slow down, listen differently, and understand one another with greater compassion. Whether you’re navigating conflict, communication challenges, parenting stress, life transitions, or the emotional needs of children or teens, this work helps families reconnect and move forward together.
An Integrative, Attachment‑Rooted Approach
Every family has its own rhythms, histories, and ways of relating. No single model fits every family, so I draw from attachment‑based, systemic, experiential, and relational approaches to meet your family where you are. The goal is not to identify a “problem person,” but to understand the patterns you all get pulled into — and to create new ways of supporting one another.
The focus is on strengthening connection, improving communication, and helping each member feel seen, valued, and understood.
What Sessions Are Like
Family sessions provide a structured, supportive space where each person has room to speak and be heard. We explore the emotions beneath behaviors, the needs that often go unspoken, and the cycles that keep the family stuck. Together, we practice new ways of communicating, repairing, and responding to one another with more clarity and care. Sessions may include the whole family, or at times smaller combinations (such as parent‑child or siblings) depending on what best supports the work.
Session Lengths
45–60 minute sessions for ongoing family work
Longer sessions available when deeper exploration or multi‑member involvement is needed
We’ll choose the format that best supports your family’s needs and capacity.
Who Family Therapy Is For
Family therapy can support families of all shapes and stages — parents and children, blended families, families with teens, adult children and parents, or any constellation of people who consider themselves family. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Many families come simply to strengthen communication, navigate transitions, or build a more secure and supportive home environment.
